I’d Love To Quit My Job And Live On-Line

I have a burning desire to make money on the internet. What I don’t want however is to have to do any darn work, of course!

I want to live the “true internet lifestyle” or at least what I think it is of pressing a few buttons and having money deposited into my bank account. Sounds pretty ridiculous doesn’t it?

There Is No Such Thing As Free Money With Internet Marketing

What I have learned is that manyof these guys actually work very hard and fail for a long time before turning a profit.

They try things, test stuff, and do experiments to learn what works. They don’t make the same mistakes twice and hold on tight to what is working. The biggest hurdle that I am seeing is that there is so much different info out there about affilaite marketing.

One blog tells me to build links to my website and another tells me that doing that would be “black hat” and that I only should be writing valuable content.

Who To Trust?

Here is a short list of websites that seem to have some good advice:

http://affiliate-tips.org/ – Very basic primer info but well written. No in depth info but they do point to a few resources that I have found helpful. Continue reading

I Am The Juice Master!

fresh-juiceJuice Master! Seriously it’s what my friends started calling me… How did I Sarah become a Juice Master you might ask?

It started off by seeing one of those cheesy infomercials way too late at night when I was up sulking around and feeling bad about myself. I normally flip right on by but for some reason this juicer contraption made sense, it allowed you to take in nutrients while disguising the bad tastes of some things (like veggies!).

A 16 digit credit card number and a telephone call later I had a juicer being delivered to my front porch! I waited until a Saturday came and a farmers market visit, I bought all the fresh fruits and veggies I could get my hands on and rushed home to that shiny new masticating juicer which was going to be a game changer! I started with using simple recipes mostly fruits that were included along with it… IT worked! The juicer worked, the drinks tasted great and after a week or so I was actually noticing how much my mood was changing! Juiced in the morning and I had energy, Who knew? Continue reading

Holly’s Diabetes Experience

babyThis is the story of my good friend Holly Cross. Holly is sharing her story about being pregnant with diabetes to help others recognize the any gestational diabetes symptoms they mat be having.

I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes when I was 28 weeks into my first pregnancy. I was shocked at the diagnosis, mostly because everything had been completely normal up until that point, and I ate very healthy foods and walked every day.

Because my glucose levels were so high, I was placed in the hospital for 3 days, and started immediately on insulin
injections. This was terrifying to me. From everything I read about gestational diabetes, I was scared for the safety and well-being of my baby. I read so much about elevated glucose and how it affects the developing baby, that I was scared to eat anything I thought may raise my blood sugar.

When I got out of the hospital, it was very overwhelming to have to check my blood sugar 5 times daily, and learn how to adjust my insulin. I was placed on a long-acting insulin (NPH), and a shorter-acting insulin (Regular), that I was able to mix into one syringe. The injecting was really not bad, however. The needles are so short and fine, I normally did not feel that at all.

Why Squats Are Important And How To Do Them Correctly

barbell-squatYou have decided to take more care of your body, but do not really know where to start? Squats are known to be one of the most effective exercises to start with. Some people love them because they help them relax their body and keep fit. Others may hate them because they feel a lot of pain and find them hard to do. This situation may occur when squads are not done correctly.

When you do a squat, you’ll be building muscle fast because you actually work out both your upper and lower body – but mostly your thighs and hips. Squats are also effective exercises for the lower back. However, the most essential thing about squats is that, if you do not do them correctly, they can cause pain and even injuries, or just lose effectiveness.
